1. About the Service

Market Map Maker is a software platform that helps users research, create, edit, publish, export, and share interactive market maps using AI-powered and manual tools.

We continuously improve the Service by adding, modifying, or removing features. Some features may be experimental, limited in availability, or discontinued over time.

2. Accounts and Workspaces

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and keeping your login credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or workspace.

Each subscription is associated with a single workspace unless otherwise specified. Additional workspaces may require separate subscriptions.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your information up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use Market Map Maker to create, edit, publish, export, and share market maps for personal or commercial purposes.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary technology of the Service;
• systematically download, copy, or redistribute our datasets, templates, proprietary content, or other materials outside the normal functionality of the Service;
• resell, sublicense, lease, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission;
• upload or distribute malware, viruses, malicious code, or harmful software;
• upload phishing links, deceptive websites, or fraudulent content;
• use the Service to engage in unlawful, abusive, defamatory, hateful, or harmful activities;
• generate or publish content that is illegal or not safe for work where prohibited by law;
• interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the Service;
• attempt to bypass usage limits, security measures, or access restrictions;
• impersonate another person or organization; or
• remove copyright notices or other proprietary notices from materials where such notices are present.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a manner that may harm us, our users, or third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

Market Map Maker, including its software, user interface, workflows, designs, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property, remains our exclusive property or the property of our licensors.

You retain ownership of the information, content, and materials that you upload to the Service.

Subject to these Terms, you own the market maps and other assets that you create using the Service.

Some logos, trademarks, company names, icons, and other third-party content displayed within market maps belong to their respective owners and remain the intellectual property of those owners. Their appearance within the Service does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or ownership by Market Map Maker.

5. Branding and Public Showcase

Unless you request otherwise, you grant us permission to display your company name, logo, website, or publicly available market maps as examples of work created using Market Map Maker for marketing and promotional purposes.

Some subscription plans may include a "Built with Market Map Maker" badge on published market maps. Where your plan permits, this branding may only be removed using features provided within the Service.

6. AI Features

Market Map Maker includes AI-powered features to assist with research, content generation, categorization, and other workflows.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, outdated information, or incorrect conclusions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on or publishing it.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated results.

7. Credits

Certain features consume usage credits.

Different features may consume different amounts of credits depending on the type of operation being performed, including but not limited to AI generation, deep research, screenshots, and other compute-intensive features.

Unused credits may roll over while your subscription remains active, subject to any limits described in your plan.

Additional credits may be purchased separately.

Where supported, you may choose to use your own API keys from recommended providers instead of purchasing credits from us. We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, reliability, or performance of third-party providers or their services.

Credits have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. Fair Use Policy

Plans advertised as "unlimited" are subject to reasonable and fair use.

As a general guideline, each workspace includes a soft limit of up to ten (10) active market maps. If your legitimate business needs exceed this limit, you may contact us to request an increase.

We reserve the right to investigate and prevent abusive, excessive, automated, or fraudulent usage that negatively affects the Service or other users.

9. Pricing and Billing

Pricing is based on the selected subscription plan and is charged per workspace unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.

We may update our pricing from time to time. Any pricing changes will apply only to future billing periods.

If your organization requires larger limits or multiple workspaces, please contact us to discuss volume pricing.

10. Payments

Payments are securely processed through Dodo Payments or another payment provider selected by us.

We do not store your payment card information. Payment information is handled by our payment providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise required by law, all payments are non-refundable.

If you cancel your subscription, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will not renew after cancellation.

Refunds may be considered only where the Service contains a material defect that substantially prevents it from operating as described. Any such refund will be evaluated at our sole discretion.

12. Lifetime Plan

A Lifetime Plan provides access to the Service for as long as Market Map Maker continues to operate commercially.

The Lifetime Plan is intended for individual use only and may not be transferred, resold, shared, or assigned to another person or organization.

Lifetime Plans do not include usage credits unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.

We may modify, replace, improve, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Purchasing a Lifetime Plan does not guarantee continued availability of every feature.

If we decide to discontinue Market Map Maker entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least thirty (30) days' notice and, where technically feasible, provide an opportunity to export your data before the Service is shut down.

The purchase price of a Lifetime Plan is non-refundable, including in the event that the Service is discontinued.

13. Done-for-You Services

Some customers may purchase professional services, including market map creation, research, consulting, or related work.

Project scope, deliverables, timelines, and other requirements will be mutually agreed upon through email or other written communication before work begins.

Where included, customers will receive access to the applicable subscription plan and the required credits for the duration of the engagement.

You may cancel the engagement at any time. If cancellation occurs before the agreed work has been substantially completed, we may issue a partial refund based on the portion of work completed. Refund decisions will be made at our reasonable discretion after reviewing the agreed deliverables.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, hosting, storage, AI capabilities, analytics, payment processing, and other functionality.

These providers may include services such as Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, AI model providers, payment processors, and similar vendors.

We are not responsible for interruptions, outages, security incidents, data loss, or other issues caused by third-party providers.

Your use of features powered by third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers. Some providers may process submitted information for service improvement, abuse detection, or AI model training in accordance with their own policies.

15. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, reliability, non-infringement, and accuracy.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service, that the Service will be free from errors, or that any information generated by the Service will be complete or accurate.

You are solely responsible for verifying any information before relying upon or publishing it.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Market Map Maker, its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any other commercial damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that we reasonably believe may harm the Service, our users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease.

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued before termination.

18. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

We are under no obligation to continue offering any particular feature, integration, pricing plan, or functionality.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page together with the revised "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tamil Nadu, India.
